There’s a new arrival taking centre stage behind the bar at The Bourne this August, and you won’t find it just anywhere.
We’re delighted to welcome Cygnet Gin, the luxury Welsh gin founded by Katherine Jenkins OBE, with The Bourne selected as one of a limited number of venues where you can discover it.
And because one new arrival is never quite enough, there’s plenty more happening at The Bourne this month, from Bank Holiday drinks and leisurely Sunday lunches to getting those first Christmas plans firmly in the diary.

Something to Sing About
We like to bring something a little different to the table, or in this case, the bar.
Cygnet is crafted in Wales with a focus on exceptional ingredients and an exceptionally smooth finish. With availability limited to selected venues, we’re rather pleased that The Bourne is one of the chosen few.
And, of course, there’s a rather famous name behind the bottle.
Founded by Katherine Jenkins OBE, Cygnet is made without compromise, right down to its secret ingredient: Manuka honey.
Katherine has long used it to care for her voice, and here it creates Cygnet 22’s exceptionally silky-smooth finish. As for the morning after? We’ll leave that one to the honey.
Enjoy yours in the late-summer sunshine on the terrace, as an aperitif before Sunday lunch or as a refreshing palate cleanser between courses.
Consider this your invitation to come and discover Cygnet for yourself.

Make a Sunday of It
Take Your Time. It’s Sunday
There are quick lunches, and then there are Sundays at The Bourne.
Start with a drink at the bar, settle in around the table and take your pick from steaks fresh from the grill, fish, pasta and plenty more from our menu.
Bring the family, catch up with friends or make it a table for two. And if you’re looking for a new pre-lunch tipple, a Cygnet aperitif sounds like a very good place to start.
Then there’s only one decision left to make. Pudding?

Make the Most of That Last Bank Holiday
Grab the Last Slice of Summer
Grab the last slice of summer and enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend at The Bourne.
We’re open across the weekend as usual, before closing on Monday to give our team a well-deserved rest too.
So make the most of that extra lie-in, gather your favourite people and join us for good food and a tipple or two on the terrace. If the British weather plays ball, even better.
Book your Bank Holiday table, or simply pop in. Walk-ins are always welcome when we have space.

Christmas at The Bourne
Join us for our first christmas
It feels like five minutes since we opened our doors, but we’re already preparing for our very first Christmas at The Bourne.
Our Christmas Celebration Menu will be served from Tuesday 1st to Thursday 24th December 2026, with three courses for £40 per person.
Choose any starter from our main menu, followed by your choice from our main courses or Chef’s Specials, including a 10oz Sirloin or 14oz Tomapork. Fancy pushing the boat out? Ribeye and Fillet are available for an £8 supplement. Finish with any dessert from our main menu.
We can welcome group bookings of up to 18 guests, subject to availability, making it perfect for work Christmas dinners, family get-togethers or finally getting everyone from the group chat around the same table.
December tables have a habit of disappearing quickly, so if Christmas at The Bourne is part of your plans, now is a very good time to get your date in the diary.
Gather, Share , Savour
