Five-Star Food Hygiene Rating for The Bourne Grill – And We’re Just Getting Started!
We’ve got some exciting news to share – Just weeks after opening our doors, The Bourne Grill has officially been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating following our very first inspection.
For us, this isn’t just a number on a certificate. It’s recognition of the care, attention and standards our team brings to every service, every plate and every guest experience.
A huge congratulations goes to our Senior Sous Chef Craig and the entire team for helping us achieve the highest possible rating so early in our journey.
As a new restaurant, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built so far – and we’re only getting started.
Get Set for Seasonal Specials
We’re also preparing to launch a range of exciting chef’s specials in the coming weeks.
Our chefs have been busy developing new dishes and seasonal creations that will sit alongside our popular menu favourites..
Expect sharing steaks like T-bone, Chateaubriand or Tomahawk and seasonal specials alongside a different seafood and pasta each week.

We’re thrilled with the response to Fathers Day, with bookings filling up quickly and only limited availability remaining.
However, if you haven’t managed to secure a table, don’t worry. Every day is Father’s Day in our eyes. Why not treat Dad to a relaxed evening meal or Sunday roast another time? A great meal shared with family is always worth celebrating, whatever the date on the calendar.

Some of the best times to book currently include:
- Tuesday evenings
- Wednesday evenings
- Saturday afternoons between 12pm and 4pm
- Sunday afternoons between 12pm and 1:30pm

Booking between 12pm and 1:30pm often means a calmer atmosphere, shorter waiting times and a more relaxed environment for younger children. It’s a great way to enjoy our popular Sunday roast before the restaurant becomes busier later in the afternoon.
